Position Overview:
We are seeking an innovative and dynamic Head of Digital Learning to join a prestigious independent prep school in High Wycombe, dedicated to educating girls aged 3 to 13. The successful candidate will lead the development and implementation of a forward-thinking digital learning strategy, ensuring that technology enhances teaching and learning across all year groups.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and implement a strategic plan for digital learning that supports the school's educational goals.Provide leadership in the integration of digital tools and resources into the curriculum.Support and train staff in the effective use of educational technology in the classroom.Ensure that all pupils have access to high-quality digital learning experiences that are age-appropriate and engaging.Oversee the use and maintenance of digital platforms, devices, and software across the school.Keep up to date with the latest trends and advancements in educational technology, recommending new tools and practices where appropriate.Work closely with the teaching staff to identify opportunities for digital learning across subjects.Foster an environment that promotes digital literacy, coding, and responsible online behaviour among pupils.Collaborate with IT support to ensure technical issues are swiftly addressed.Lead workshops and training sessions for both staff and students to build confidence in the use of digital resources.Person Specification:
A proven track record in a similar leadership role within a school setting, preferably with experience in a prep or primary school.Passionate about digital learning and innovation in education.Strong understanding of digital platforms, tools, and technologies relevant to young learners.Experience in training and supporting teachers to integrate technology effectively into teaching.Ability to communicate complex ideas clearly and supportively to both staff and pupils.Excellent organisational and leadership skills, with a collaborative approach to working with colleagues and stakeholders.Qualifications:
Degree-level qualification, preferably in Education, IT, or a related field.QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or equivalent experience in teaching with digital learning integration.Relevant qualifications or experience in EdTech or digital learning would be highly advantageous.What We Offer:
