We are seeking a strategic forward-thinking leader to join our team, overseeing the provision, development and operation of the College's digital operating environment ensuring our digital infrastructure is managed efficiently and effectively.The RoleWorking closely with the Assistant Principal - Infrastructure and Experience to shape and support the development of an excellent and innovative Digital Strategy, you will provide vision, leadership and motivational management to specialist teams within Digital Services.A key part of the role will be to lead digital transformation across the organisation, enabling Fife College to be sector leading.
As Head of Digital, your key responsibilities will include leading the shape of the College's Digital operating environment including infrastructure, systems, and end user devices, whilst working closely with the Head of Estates to drive forward the digitalisation of the entire College estate.Take overall responsibility for determining the College's cyber security posture and managing the risks associated with adverse cyber activity targeted towards the College and provide governance oversight across the entire digital function, leading the development and application of suitable policies and procedures within your areas of operational oversight.Qualifications and Experience - what we're looking for:· Educated to degree level or with demonstrable relevant professional experience at SCQF level 9 or above.· Proven experience managing large and diverse technical teams.· Proven record of effective of budget management achieving financial targets and effective use of resources.· Proven experience of successfully leading transformational and behavioural change to a 'digital first' approach to systems and services, with a clear understanding of the latest technologies and applications in the world of digital transformation, and how these can be effectively deployed to enhance end user experience and drive business value.· Demonstrable experience engaging with end users to understand their needs and deliver solutions designed to meet these needs.· Excellent leadership and communication skills.This is an exciting opportunity to make a significant impact on the College and its community.
