Position : Head of UX Design / Research Reporting to Director of Product Contract type: Full Time, Permanent, Remote About the role This is an incredible opportunity to join Cera as our Head of UX Design / Product.
Your work will have a huge impact on the way that care is experienced and delivered.
The role is a hybrid role with an expectation that you will frequently visit the London office to work closely with stakeholders and collaborators.
The Head of role plays a pivotal role in creating Cera's solutions for our carers and customers.
A key focus of this role is to ensure that Cera's product experiences are the best that they possibly can be, so that Cera can achieve its goal of providing great care to all of our customers whilst improving the experience of everyone involved in care delivery.
You will manage our team of Product Designers and work with our engineering teams (on and off shore) and product teams as well as getting close to the operational staff and carers who use our products every day.
This role requires building a deep knowledge of our business and processes and a passion for user centered design and its application to our technology.
About you As our Head of Product Design and Research, you will establish and embed Product Design and Research within Cera.
You'll provide mentorship and leadership to the Product Design team.
You'll have the ability to juggle multiple projects and will understand how to prioritize the team's work and time based on an understanding of the impact of your deliverables to your stakeholders and projects.

You have the ability to stay laser focused on our end users, conducting internal and external research and competitor analysis to ensure our engineering and teams are building useful and delightful solutions to deliver our mission.
Role and responsibilities: Work directly with the product leadership to develop a vision for the product and its respective areas, determine the goals, and ensure that everyone is aligned and delivering results.
Develop processes and best practices that enable the design team to work efficiently at scale, without compromising on the quality.
Work with qualitative and quantitative data and carry out behavior analysis to identify opportunities to improve and optimize our experiences Help set clear development goals for your team, and regularly check in on progress.
Help designers define their career paths, identify opportunities and level up to do the best work of their lives.
Keeping close to the market, conducting competitor analysis and ensuring we're constantly innovating our experiences and products Background & Experience You thrive in mission-driven organizations, working with collaborative teams who are passionate about utilizing technology and building products to better the world around us Experience leading a team of designers in a fast-growing environment, hiring, and managing performance.
Experience working on a broad, modern product that has significant scale.
Ability to motivate and inspire people to grow, learn, succeed, and do their very best work.
Ability to communicate (written and verbally) with precision, clarity, honesty, and respect.
Understanding of how effective product strategy is shaped.
Understanding of commercial dynamics and how design can help drive business success.
Strong sense of product design, from high level strategic direction down to UI design details.
