Please note: Glasgow based (Hybrid)ROLE PURPOSEThe Head of Delivery is an operational delivery role responsible for the engagement and operational delivery for our high value clients along with the leadership of the operational teams.
This includes the delivery of contracted services taking ownership for all aspects of operational engagement and management and ensure service excellence against a broad set of client requirements.Delivery includes achievement of our agreed operational metrics and supporting the achievement of our commercial revenue and cost goals.
Core to this is the ability to coach, develop and lead their operational teams across all roles.
This includes the ability to deliver superior performance with both permanent and associate resource.To deliver outstanding operational management across our full range of client solutions to enhance the relationship and in turn lead to sustainable growth opportunities for Huntswood.ROLE PROFILETo lead, develop and coach team of operational leads, team managers and the extended resource supply of permanent employees and associates which allows for superior operational and commercial delivery.
This will include employee engagement minimising the risk of attrition and absence.To lead the operational delivery across our clients meeting all required service levels and deliverables.To lead our client operational engagement establishing strong and lasting relationships with our key stakeholders (internal and external) including the need for formal client business reviewsTo take the lead in establishing a strong risk framework across all engagements including identifying identify operational delivery risks and introducing timely and impactful actions to ensure the mitigation of risksTo support the extension and growth of our client engagements by identifying future opportunities including supporting relationships with new client stakeholders alongside our business development teamsDevelop the capability and insight to report on the operational metrics and commercial performance across our clients and where required introduce immediate actions where gaps are identifiedImplement appropriate controls and oversight across our perm resource and associates that supports timesheets, invoicing, and contracts requirementsSupport the resolution of financial issues across our clients including the efficient delivery and payment of invoicesActively role model the identification of client improvement initiatives which can include process improvements, automation and productivity of the teamESSENTIAL SKILLSProven ability to deliver superior operational performanceDemonstrate leadership, coaching and developing operational capability across their teamsExperience to lead large and complex client facing engagementsAn ability to deliver commercial value through their operational leadershipAbility to operate and influence effectively across all levels of our clients and our own organisationAbility to establish strong client relationships which facilitates effective business reviews and where required the appropriate operational influencing of the clientEffective management, delivery, and improvement of client contractual agreementsAbility to optimise the commercial performance of Huntswood through constant improvements in the operational deliver of their teamStrong strategic and tactical problem-solving capabilityHigh levels of personal resilience and a proactive attitude in pursuing opportunities for delivery improvementConfidence in challenging within our business to ensure the most appropriate solutions are achieved for all clients
