Head of Data Engineering Location: 3 days a week in Central London Salary: Up to £110,000 Overview: Our client is seeking a Head of Data Engineering to lead their data engineering team and shape the organization's data infrastructure.
You will design and implement scalable data architecture, drive data governance, and ensure seamless data integration.
Collaborating with key stakeholders like the CDO, CTO, and Head of Analytics, you'll play a crucial role in building data-driven strategies and supporting data science capabilities.
Key Responsibilities: Design data architecture models, flows, and storage solutions.
Implement and enforce data governance policies.
Manage data integration strategies using ETL/ELT, APIs, and pipelines.
Optimize performance, scalability, and data security protocols.
Lead cross-functional collaboration for effective data management.
Requirements: Experience with Snowflake, AWS, Airflow, Streaming (Kafka) Proven experience in data architecture or a similar role.
Proficiency in database technologies (e.g., PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redshift).
Strong understanding of data governance, security, and integration.
Excellent leadership and communication skills.
