This is a permanent role, paying up to £85,000 with hybrid working (2 days a week in office based near Cardiff).
The Role You will be responsible for developing and implementing a robust data engineering strategy that aligns with the IT and Digital Services Strategy, delivering a wide range of projects and building out a Data Engineering team.
Key responsibilities include: lead and manage the data engineering team, fostering a high-performing and collaborative work environment develop and implement a robust data engineering strategy oversee the development and implementation of a robust data platform to leverage data and AI initiatives champion the adoption of data-driven decision-making across the organisation lead on the build of a data community foster a culture of service excellence and continuous improvement lead the development of a data governance framework About You experience in developing and delivering data strategies demonstrable experience in leading and managing data platform development in-depth knowledge of data platform technologies including data warehouses, data lakes and data governance tools knowledge of optimising data pipelines, pipeline architectures and integrated datasets ability to lead and develop a team On Offer salary on offer up to £85,000 hybrid working (2 days a week in the office) retail discounts Robert Half Ltd acts as an employment business for temporary positions and an employment agency for permanent positions.
