This is a pivotal role where you will shape the data analytics strategy, lead a talented team, and influence decision-making across the organisation.About the RoleAs the Head of Data Analytics, you will lead the delivery of standardised, ad-hoc, and on-demand reporting and analytics to meet the needs of a dynamic and fast-paced organisation.
Reporting directly to senior leadership, you'll play a key role in driving automation, improving data quality, and introducing innovative solutions that empower business decisions.
This is a unique opportunity to work in a collaborative environment where your expertise will help to unlock the potential of our data assets and support long-term business goals.Key ResponsibilitiesLead and inspire a team of analytics professionals to deliver high-quality data insights and reporting.Drive the adoption of automation to increase efficiency, ensuring analytics are accessible and actionable for all stakeholders.Design and implement best practices for data management, reporting, and master data governance.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to align on data design, reporting requirements, and innovative solutions.Stay ahead of emerging trends, introducing advanced analytics methods such as predictive modelling and machine learning.Build and maintain a data dictionary and establish documentation standards for analytics tools and reports.Develop and manage the analytics roadmap, ensuring alignment with wider business strategy and objectives.Define and report on team performance KPIs, driving continuous improvement and delivering measurable value.
What We're Looking ForExperience:Proven experience in leading a reporting or BI team, with a strong track record of success in delivering impactful analytics.Expertise in database, reporting, and data analysis tools, coupled with a strategic mindset and commercial awareness.
Skills:Hands-on experience with SQL and data modelling techniques.Familiarity with modern analytics tools (e.G., Power BI, QlikView, or Tableau).Exceptional leadership, communication, and stakeholder engagement skills.Ability to think critically and implement scalable, innovative solutions.
