JLA has been providing critical assets and services to a range of businesses and sectors including Care Homes, Hospitals, Schools, and Hotels for over 50 years.
These assets and services are crucial in supporting customers with their Laundry, Catering, Heating, Fire Safety, Infection Control, and Air Conditioning.
The company offers a unique, all-inclusive package called Total Care, this rental model allows customers to make a single monthly payment, to receive brand new equipment, and have maintenance costs taken care of.
Role overview The core purpose of this role is to ensure delivery of all creative materials required by marketing and the wider business within brand guidelines and to agreed timescales and budgets.
Examples of this could be marketing collateral – brochures, posters, social media posts, videos etc, operational materials – signage, machine stickers etc.
This will include managing the in-house designer, the 3rd party designers and other 3rd party agencies as well as being capable of designing and creating materials yourself.
Key tasks Production Oversight Oversees the production process for all creative assets, including designing and creating projects themselves, from concept though execution, ensuring high-quality outputs that meet brand standards and project objectives.
Manages internal designers, external agencies, freelancers and production partners to deliver on creative projects within budget and timelines.
Ensures all creative outputs are on-brand, visually appealing and effective in driving consumer engagement and sales.
Brand guidelines and tone of voice Defines and maintains the brand guidelines and creative tone of voice for JLA Lead all designers to deliver corporate assets that align with the brand guidelines and tone of voice.
People Management Set a culture of effective people management.
Set clear objectives and targets for your team members providing regular feedback on performance.
Manage performance across the team to ensure the achievement of targets in line with targets.
Manage any employee relations issues in line with the policies set out by the business.
Coach and develop the team to ensure they perform at a high level, ensuring colleagues maintain appropriate knowledge of the business products.
Address any training and development needs and ensure teams have a personal development plan.
Service Delivery Demonstrate an understanding of what service delivery excellence is for your role.
Ensuring you set a culture of excellent customer service ensuring the basics are right every time and lead a team where service is central to good performance.
Knowledge and Skills Working knowledge of the full Adobe Creative Suite, Adobe Photoshop.
Ability to collaborate and work closely with diverse teams.
Animations.
Adobe Premier Pro.
Experience Proven track record in creative development.
Leading and mentoring creative teams.
Worked in a fast paced environment with conflicting deadlines.
Film/video production.
