Students attain excellent examination results with 95% attaining grade A*-B at A Level and 89% attaining a grade 7-9 at GCSE in 2024.
Computer Science is a growing department and a popular subject at iGCSE and A Level.

The Head of Computer Science has overall responsibility for leading the department and ensuring high standards of teaching, learning and achievement, and the creative development of the Computer Science Curriculum at Tormead.
This is an exciting opportunity for a well-qualified, creative and inspirational Teacher of Computer Science.
The successful candidate will have a genuine passion for computer science and a desire to inspire this in others.
Candidates will have a firm grasp of curricular developments, inspire high standards in the classroom, have a warm approach, and will show enthusiasm for wider involvement in the School's rich co-curricular programme.
