This is an exciting opportunity to join Thirteen Group as their Head of Compliance Services.
Reporting to the Director of Repairs & Maintenance, the successful candidate will provide leadership, accountability, and flagship service excellence.
Ensuring compliance with legislation and best practice in relation to all compliance contracts.
Responsibilities of the role include: Lead client/contractor relationships on all compliance programmes of work providing detailed reports to document progress and address remedial action where required.
Lead and manage all property compliance programs including gas, electrical, asbestos, lifts, and legionella, ensuring regulatory standards are met and maintaining comprehensive risk registers.
Control and forecast program expenditure, manage budgets, oversee procurement processes, and maintain effective contractor relationships to ensure value for money.
Provide technical expertise to Leadership Team and Board, support business planning, drive continuous improvement, achieve team targets, and maintain high customer satisfaction above 90%.
Develop and implement service plans, monitor KPIs, manage sub-contractors, ensure Health & Safety compliance, and coordinate all legal obligations related to project delivery.
Create detailed progress reports, analyse performance data, develop solutions for service improvements, and document remedial actions where required.
Foster collaborative working relationships across the organisation while ensuring all work aligns with the company's strategic plan and maintains professional standards.
Thirteen Group is looking to appoint an experienced leader who has the following attributes; Excellent financial and business acumen, with the ability to forecast budgets to ensure effective planning and delivery of multiple, complex work-streams.
Strong knowledge and experience of Compliance contract management including asbestos, lifts, legionella, gas and electrical safety and compliance works.
Demonstrate previous accountability for the management of Health and Safety at a senior level.
Strong leadership qualities with the ability to motivate a wide range of employees, from trade operatives to senior managers, resulting in a high-performing team.
Thorough understanding and track record of managing the pressures of conflicting priorities within a commercial operation.
Successful management of substantial revenue budgets and commercial awareness.
Evidence of delivering key business objectives within a performance orientated culture.
Understands and can demonstrate a commitment to coaching and developing staff to ensure succession planning, coupled with strong change management skills.
A skilled influencer and negotiator able to communicate effectively with external stakeholders, customers, staff and Board Directors, to include report writing and presentations.
