About the role An exciting opportunity has arisen to join MHA as the Head of Commercial Finance, reporting to the Director of Finance and IT.
You will manage a team of 9 with 3 direct reports.
This key senior leadership role will lead, motivate and develop the commercial finance team delivering excellent business partnering and challenge to MHA's internal and external stakeholders to drive improved performance enabling the charity to meet its strategic objectives.
The role covers budgeting, forecasting and the delivery of ad hoc insight and analysis to enable and support effective decision making across the organisation.
Delivery of high quality Board and Committee papers ensuring Trustee assurance and engagement is a critical part of this role.
About you You will be an experienced Commercial Finance leader who works proactively and pragmatically with high energy and commitment.
You will have a breadth of experience in the areas that this role is responsible for.
You will have a track record of delivering insight and analysis and challenging at senior levels to get the right result for the organisation; you will be comfortable proactively leading from the front to drive improved performance for the charity.
You will also be an effective communicator developing trusting relationships across the organisation.
