Your new company Our client is a well established and independent insurance company that provides insurance products and dealer warranties to vehicle manufacturers and retailers of all types and sizes throughout the UK, Europe and globally.
Your new role The Head of Claims is a senior leadership role responsible for the strategic execution and management of the claims function.
This role will oversee the planning, management, and optimisation of end-to-end claims processes, ensuring efficient and effective claims handling that meets policyholder, (B2B) client and business needs.
This role will lead multiple (4) claims teams and managers, oversee relationships with outsourced service providers, engage proactively with insurers and the in-house underwriting team, and ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements.
What youll need to succeed The ideal candidate would have a minimum of 5 years of experience in a senior claims management role within the insurance industry, alongside a proven track record in managing large claims teams and driving process improvements.
Extensive experience in managing the end-to-end claims process, from initial notification to settlement, is also required, and also being experienced in managing motor related in managing motor-related insurance claims is essential.
The ideal core values and traits that the successful candidate would demonstrate are excellent people management and relationship-building skills alongside being extremely organised and concise.
