Job summary:
As the Head of Business Development, the successful candidate will be responsible for presenting Lúnasa and the commercial opportunities to the stakeholders and the potential customers. This role involves building lead pipelines, managing bids and tenders for potential opportunities. The candidate will have to work alongside the technical and commercial teams to optimise the solution and offering to match the customer needs and goals. This role will be reporting directly to the CEO.
Responsibilities: Monitor Lúnasa's overall business operations and client transactionsGenerate new leads, develop new market initiatives, assess new markets, and analyse business operationsPresenting Lúnasa in commercial meetings, client presentations, conferences, exhibitions, etc. (available to travel oversees)Managing funding applications and/or tenders/bidsInterface with the technical team to discuss closely the development and commercial perspective for enhancing future goals Good to have: Knowledge/Experience of the space sector and the application of in-orbit satellite servicing and infrastructureExperience of public grant funding landscapeExperience with investorsCommercially mindedDecisive thinkingSkilled influencerSkilled negotiatorA can-do personality and motivated to work in a dynamic and tight deadline environment
