Role Summary: We have a fantastic opportunity for an experienced Head of Business Development to join My Pension Expert, reporting into the Marketing & Policy Director you will be responsible for the management of all aspects of MPE partnerships including strategy and execution of the development of new partnerships and lead introduction.
Scope of Role: ·      To work with Marketing & Policy Director, identify and develop the strategy to access specific market segments to widen B2B distribution.
·      To manage and develop relationships with partners to achieve corporate objectives both personally and utilising internal resource.
·      To originate, in line with the agreed plans, new partners for MPE.
·      Ensure all MI requirements fulfilled internally and for corporate partners.
·      Manage partner sales to agreed budgets.
·      Attend conferences and networking events to generate potential corporate partnerships.
·      Take responsibility for onboarding all new partnerships liaising with the Policy Director, Marketing, Finance, Sales, Advice and Operations.
·      Provide regular updates and summary of current position to the Marketing & Policy Director.
Outline of Role: ·      Source and deliver new partners to agreed plan supporting the Marketing & Policy Director.
·      Manage and grow the corporate partnership database and ensure all data is accurate and up-to-date.
·      Work with sales and account management teams to ensure the delivery of KPIs (both internal and external).
·      Liaise regularly with account management teams to ensure quality service to corporate partners.
·      Ensure delivery, monitor and oversee leads/hotkeys and appointments to corporate partners as detailed in individual agreements.
·      Create and conduct pitch presentations to potential corporate partners and drive follow-up process as necessary.
·      Represent MPE at industry and networking events to generate leads and potential corporate partnerships.
·      Main point of day–to-day contact for all corporate partners.
·      Feedback on progress fulfilling MPE partnership agreements.
·      Ensure any issues with corporate partners are raised with the Marketing & Policy Director.
·      Produce monthly reports to track function progress.
·      Ensure that all corporate partner targets are achieved.
This role requires flexibility.
Completion of other duties may be required at the discretion of the company.
The Person ·      Educated to degree level or equivalent.
·      2 years' experience in B2B sales.
·      You will require strong interpersonal and relationship management skills as Head of Business Development developing internal and external relationships to achieve corporate objectives.
·      You will require a strong understanding of all MPE operational processes.
·      You will need to be able to follow agreed plans, identify issues early and flag to the Marketing & Policy Director.
·      You will need to be numerate, articulate with an ability to write coherent pitch documents, reports and updates to both internal and external audiences.
