The aim of the business is to be the go-to agency for fan knowledge/understanding and recognized as being the benchmark for strategic and creative ways to target and engage with fans.
You will drive the collective new business and marketing efforts of the dentsu sports international team in EMEA and also work closely with other key DSI stakeholders to drive new logo growth globally.
This will include a focus on the team's understanding of collaboration and moving as one across verticals and an exceptional understanding of our capabilities, services, and expertise to create opportunities for growth.

Head of Business Development and Marketing What we're looking for As Head of business development, your role is to oversee the strategic planning, development, and implementation of our business development and marketing projects for dentsu Sports International across the EMEA region.
This will include managing a team of expert professionals to help implement and deliver the plans set out.
What you will be doing each day Own the new business process and pipeline across all DSI businesses in EMEA.
Work with Senior Leadership to drive forward a proactive new business plan.
Generate significant new logo growth opportunities in the marketplace.
Develop relationships within the dentsu network to generate leads and conversations around sports + entertainment.
Lead on outbound prospecting to drive pipeline.
Build a network of contacts internally and externally to drive significant logo growth.
Project manage and/or support the development of creative content, case studies, and credentials.
Own the DSI marketing plan and output, including social, website, events, awards, conferences, communications, and how this flows into new business.
Work with leadership on developing and delivering our communications strategy, managing the marketing and content calendar and timelines.
Be an active part of a community of marketing professionals within the global MKTG Sports + Entertainment network.
Proactively identify opportunities for improvement and actively develop new processes.
Manage the team to deliver appropriate metrics, campaign performance, optimize content, and report preparation.
What you will have done so far At least 10 years of experience in a new business and/or a marketing role.
Experience in managing large scale RFPs as well as smaller, more agile new business approaches.
Demonstrated an ability and flexibility to flourish in a multi-discipline role.
Clear understanding of the marketing needs of an agency business and a track record of making a brand stand out from the crowd.
Ability to manage long-term projects while being able to respond to real-time events and work under tight deadlines.
Ability to conceptualize, articulate, and package ideas that are clear and strategically sound.
Affinity to work collaboratively, influencing key stakeholders and managing relationships across the organization.
Proven ability to deliver persuasive and compelling presentations to senior brand clients.
