The RoleWe are seeking an experienced, strategic-minded Head of Business Analysis to join our Strategic Portfolio Office (SPO) at Kingston University.
This key leadership role will drive process improvements and business analysis across the University to support the successful delivery of our Town House Strategy and its strategic and operational goals.As Head of Business Analysis, you will lead the development of a University-wide business analysis framework, enabling efficient, effective, and sustainable change across the institution.
Your expertise in process improvement and business analysis will help identify and implement innovative ways to enhance performance, promote best practices, and achieve lasting impact.In this highly collaborative role, you will work closely with a wide range of internal stakeholders, fostering a culture of inclusivity, transparency, and mutual respect.
You will also manage a small team of Business Analysts, providing direction and support to drive continuous improvement initiatives across the University.
The PersonTo succeed in this role, you should have:- A degree or equivalent relevant experience in a related field.- A qualification in Process Improvement, Lean, or Business Analysis (e.g., Six Sigma, BCS Business Analysis).- Proven expertise in project or change management (e.g., PRINCE2).- Extensive experience leading process improvement strategies in large organizations.- Demonstrated ability to manage complex change projects that require cross-departmental collaboration.- Strong skills in tracking benefits realization, monitoring KPIs, and facilitating business process architecture.- Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to work collaboratively across diverse teams and build trust at all levels.- A commitment to fostering an inclusive environment and promoting a positive, diverse culture.
Directorate/FunctionWorking within a newly created Strategic Portfolio Office (SPO), the office also sits within a newly established Strategy, Performance and Communications Directorate.
As well as the SPO, this Directorate includes staff working in Planning and Performance, and Brand, Communications and Public Affairs.
