Head of BMS Projects Location: Home Based We are currently seeking an experienced and passionate Head of BMS Projects to lead and manage our growing BMS projects department.
In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of BMS project delivery including design, programming, commissioning, and handover and commercials.
You will also be responsible for overall strategy development, team leadership, and ensuring successful completion of all BMS projects on time and within budget.
You will lead and manage a team of BMS Project Managers, Operations Managers and Engineers and accountable for the successful delivery of BMS projects, ensuring efficient and effective programme management with individual governance for project specification and costing, planning, execution, monitoring, and reporting to meet project objectives and customer requirements.
You will maintain strong relationships with key clients, contractors, suppliers, and other external stakeholders, ensuring their satisfaction with project delivery and be responsible for holding relationships with key BMS manufacturers.
In collaboration with other departments including Central Projects, Health and Safety and Bids, you will manage and participate in the selection, tendering, and development of new innovations for the BMS department to support market trends and customer needs.
You will ensure that all BMS projects are compliant with relevant industry regulations and standards, as well as health and safety policies and procedures whilst looking to develop and maintain a culture of continuous improvement within the department, promoting innovation and best practice to deliver optimal results.
To be successful, you will have extensive experience in the BMS industry with a track record of successfully delivering a portfolio BMS projects of various sizes and complexity whilst demonstrating your leadership skills within a technical team.
Knowledge of HVAC, Electrical Systems and Energy Efficient technologies would be advantages to support across the wider team.
