We are seeking an exceptional Principal Engineer to join our innovative team, specializing in Robotics, Perception, Navigation, and Planning.
This role is for someone with expertise in integrating these systems with VLAs, LLMs, and Knowledge Bases, to drive true autonomous robot systems.
As a hands-on leader, you will spearhead the adoption of cutting-edge advancements in AI and Robotics, shaping the strategic vision while taking full ownership of end-to-end autonomous systems.
Your contributions will have a transformative impact on the robotics industry, from low-level coding and model training to high-level strategic decision-making.
What you'll do: Lead the adoption and integration of state-of-the-art AI/ML technologies AI/ML and robotics across the company.
Deliver true Robot Autonomy by integrating capabilities from Reasoning, Navigation, and Perception teams.
Initiate and drive strategic partnerships with industry leaders and academic institutions to enhance robotic capabilities.
Own and develop the long-term vision for End-to-End Autonomous, Self-Aware Robotic systems.
Design and integrate complex infrastructure and information flows across multiple technical teams.
Your background: MS or PhD in Robotics, Computer Science, or a related field.
A proven track record of publications and projects in AI and Robotics.
Expertise in Robotic Autonomy and systems - VLA/VLM/LLM or alternative solutions for robotic world modeling.
Extensive experience with Python, cloud platforms, databases, and ML models.
Demonstrated ability to research, design, and develop innovative solutions, both in simulated and real-world environments.
Strong Computer Science background with a deep understanding of data structures, algorithms, system design, and deep learning principles.
Comprehensive knowledge of Robotic Navigation, Perception, and Reasoning technologies within the industry.
Preferred Qualifications: Advanced skills in Semantic Mapping, Knowledge Bases, and SLAM.
Experience in strategic decision-making and leadership.
A diverse academic background with interdisciplinary knowledge.
