The University of Central Lancashire's Strategic Data Team are recruiting for a Head of Analysis.
This role will support the delivery of operational and strategic data reporting; producing analysis and insight to inform strategic decision-making and improve student outcomes.
The post holder will be responsible for developing and implementing data analysis strategies in collaboration with Schools and Services across the University; leading significant data-based projects, developing relationships with key stakeholders and presenting analysis to high-level audiences.
They will be working with large volumes of data from across the University and will be instrumental in leading the wider team to explore new opportunities and to embrace and develop new methods of analysis.
The successful candidate will hold an honours degree and be an experienced data analyst; with experience of investigating complex data queries, developing effective business intelligence solutions, and producing insight.
You will have substantial experience of data modelling, visualisation and analysis using tools such as Tableau, Alteryx and Power BI as well as excellent communication skills.
Utilising excellent communication and interpersonal skills, the successful applicant will have an ability to convey complex management information to different audiences as well as build productive relationships with colleagues of varying degrees of seniority.
