Head Chef Location: Edinburgh, West End Salary: £36,000 per annum + Service Charge Are you an experienced and ambitious Head Chef looking to make a mark in Edinburgh?
This may well be the role for you Im delighted to be working alongside and recruiting for a luxury small hotel, located in Edinburghs West End.
This is a chance for someone to roll up their sleeves and really make a meaningful contribution to the business as the venue embarks on a new journey.
About the Role As Head Chef, youll have the freedom to develop a menu that changes with the seasons, with a focus on letting the ingredients speak for themselves.
The current 5-5-5 menu offers guests the chance to sample what Scotland has to offer and were looking for someone who can bring fresh ideas while maintaining quality and consistency.
Key Responsibilities: Oversee all Back of House operations, including team management, rota planning, holidays, and staff training.
Ensure health and safety and food hygiene standards are met and always maintained.
Manage gross profit and work within set budgets.
Work closely with senior management to enhance guest satisfaction and help drive business.
Maintain a high standard of food quality and presentation through a hands-on approach.
What Were Looking For: Strong kitchen management experience, with a track record of leading a team effectively.
A creative approach to menu development with a focus on seasonal, locally sourced ingredients where possible.
Excellent organisational skills.
Financial understanding, including gross profit and cost control.
