This is a unique opportunity to manage a small team in a high-profile setting, delivering fresh, seasonal menus with a focus on event catering.
The venue is completely closed from October to March , offering a significant break during the winter months.
Role Overview: As Head Chef, you will be responsible for all aspects of the kitchen operation, including menu planning , ordering , and event catering .
You'll work alongside an assistant chef and kitchen porter to deliver exceptional food for polo events, weddings, and brunches.
Weekly Structure: Monday - Day off Tuesday - Operations meeting and weekly ordering Wednesday & Thursday - Prep for the weekend Friday - Event catering with a street food offering Saturday - Brunch service in the morning followed by wedding catering (latest finish around 8 pm) Sunday - Lunch service from 12 pm to 4 pm (finish by 5 pm) What's on Offer: Salary up to £45,000 + service charge Venue closed October to March , offering significant time off Opportunity to work with fresh, high-quality ingredients Manage a small, close-knit team Potential to pick up additional hours at other venues during the off-season if desired Flexibility with holidays Ideal Candidate: Previous experience in event catering or working with weddings and large-scale functions Strong leadership skills with the ability to manage a small team Must hold a driving licence, as occasional driving may be required This role offers a perfect work-life balance for an experienced Head Chef looking to lead a seasonal venue with a passion for fresh, seasonal food.
