Job summary Minehead Community Hospital is a state of the arts new build in a lovely country Town by the sea.
Minehead is a small town with a population of just over 12,000 people.We are not an acute Hospital and strive to deliver excellent care to the local community.We are part of Somerset NHS Foundation trust with the Acute Hospital in Taunton 26 miles away.We have 19 inpatient beds and look after patients requiring rehabilitation, assessments for future care including nursing homes and Palliative care.We have single rooms and two four bed bays.
We are looking for a HCA to join are team.
Main duties of the job You will support and assist Registered Nurses as a member of the nursing team and under supervision perform a broad range of activities and assigned tasks as required by the patients individualised care plans.

Person Specification Qualifications Essential Good standard of literacy and numeracy and spoken English (Minimum Level 1 or Functional Skills).
Level 2 in Health and Social Care, or equivalent experience.
Care Certificate or willing to work towards this.
Good interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients, carers and relatives, remaining sensitive and empathetic.
