Your new school:
This Bristol primary school is in search of a reliable, enthusiastic Learning Support Assistant to work throughout the school year, assisting where necessary and helping children achieve their academic goals.
This BS11 school is looking for a team player, to work 3 days a week, who is passionate about working with students every day.
This school is situated on a public bus route and there is also a car park on site, covering travel to and from your new school.
Your new role:
Your role within this Bristol school will consist of assisting a Year 2 teacher in their day-to-day running where necessary and helping with lesson delivery and explanation.
Taking the children out in groups to practice literacy, numeracy and phonics will also be involved with this Learning Support Assistant role.
You will be tasked with looking after the class as a whole and helping to fill in any gaps in learning in this Year 2 class within this BS11 school.
Requirements to succeed in your new role:
Previous experience working with children and young people Two working references from your most recent jobs that apply relevance to the position Previous experience with leading phonics, literacy or numeracy interventions.
An enhanced DBS on the update service is desirable.
