Teaching Assistant SEMH
Start date: October Half term

Contract: Fixed term
Working Pattern: Full-time
Your new school:
This Bristol school is looking for an experienced, enthusiastic worker to join their team as soon as possible, working full-time in and out of the classroom with a multitude of students, specialising in SEND assistance.
Helping children throughout the entirety of the primary school, assisting with the organisation and maintenance of SEMH inclusion throughout the school.
You will be working with an amazing team of teachers, teachers and support staff alike, delivering exceptional education, ensuring the students have access to all the resources available.
This BS32 school is on public transport routes and has a car park on site too.
Your new role:
With this Teaching Assistant role, you will be taking on a leading role in the classroom and assisting with group activities.
Phonics and early reading expertise is essential when in this role too, as well as previous experience in SEMH and emotional regulation.
You may be required to deliver interventions to the class in numeracy, literacy or phonics, so these should be a strong point.
The role will be based around assisting and helping with the safeguarding and well-being of the children attending the school whilst also assisting in their learning.
Requirements to succeed in your new role
Two working references from your most recent jobs that apply relevance to the position Previous experience working within a school is desirable Literacy, numeracy and phonics experience are desirable
