Are you passionate about making a difference in the lives of children with special educational needs (SEN)?
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate SEN Teaching Assistant to join our dynamic team, supporting children aged 5-11 with a range of needs including ASD, MLD, and SLD.
Key Details: Position: SEN Teaching Assistant Location: Stafford Salary: Minimum of £83.33 per day Hours: Monday to Friday, 08:30 - 15:30 Contract: Temporary agency supply, long-term and short-term roles available Responsibilities: Provide tailored support to children with SEN, ensuring they achieve their full potential.
Work collaboratively with the classroom teacher to implement individual learning plans.
Assist with the preparation of learning materials and the classroom environment.
Encourage positive behaviour and social interaction amongst students.
Monitor and report on the progress of children under your care.
Requirements: Experience working with SEN children is preferred but not essential.
A patient, caring, and adaptable approach to working with children.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A relevant teaching assistant or childcare qualification is desirable.
