A Primary SEN Secondary School in Birmingham is looking for an SEN Teaching Assistant to cover a long-term absence.
It is a successful school with a long and proven track-record of providing high quality education for pupils with ASD.
The school has strong leadership, gained a good in their last Ofsted and give support and development to members of staff working in the school on a temporary basis.
Details of the role and school:
The role is Monday to Friday and is term time only on a temporary basis The post is to start in January 2025 and will run in the first instance up until the February half term in the first instance and possibly beyond The person concerned will be working with a class of 12 Year 3 pupils, providing support to the pupils and working alongside other Teaching Assistants and the Class Teacher The role will be supporting pupils with teaching and learning as well as with behaviour and social and emotional wellbeing The person concerned will have recent experience working as an SEN Teaching Assistant and have experience of working with children with Autism Hays Education will be able to obtain recent satisfactory school-based references that reflect the person's experience
