SEN Teaching Assistant Job in Warwick Your new company
The Primary School is dedicated to providing a supportive and inclusive environment for all students with two specialised SEN units: one for Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) and one for Key Stage 2 (KS2).
We cater to children with a range of needs, including autism, ADHD, and social, emotional, and mental health (SEMH) challenges.
The hours of this roles are 8:30 AM - 3:30 PM, Monday to Friday.
This is a long-term role starting 8th January, with the potential to become permanent for the right candidate.
Your new role
The school are seeking a compassionate and skilled SEN Teaching Assistant to join their team.
The role will include-
Assist in the delivery of individualised education plans (IEPs) for students with SEN. Provide one-on-one and small group support to students in the EYFS and KS2 units.
Help create a positive and inclusive classroom atmosphere.
Support students with autism, ADHD, SEMH, and other needs.
Collaborate with teachers, SENCO, and other staff to ensure the best outcomes for students.
Monitor and record student progress, providing feedback to teachers and parents.
What you'll need to succeed Relevant qualifications or experience as a Teaching Assistant, particularly in SEN settings.
Understanding of the needs of children with autism, ADHD, and SEMH.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Patience, empathy, and a genuine passion for supporting children with SEN. Commitment to the ethos and values of Lillington Primary School.
