Hays Education is looking for a Level 3 Qualified Teaching Assistant or Higher Level Teaching Assistant to join our fabulous team of supply staff in Leicester.
We work with excellent Teaching Assistants to provide essential cover support for Primary Schools in and around Leicester.
The new addition to our team should be proactive and confident walking into a new school - ideally, they will have undertaken Phonics training and recent experience working with SEND Pupils.
Your new role
In your new job as a Teaching Assistant, you will play a crucial role in nurturing the next generation.
From planning and delivering learning activities for individual pupils and groups to assessing and reporting on student progress - a Teaching Assistant provides essential classroom support.
In this job, you will work closely with class teachers to support and assess pupils' learning, manage a busy classroom and build relationships with parents and pupils.
What you'll need to succeed
To succeed in this job, you will have a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification or Level 4 Higher Level Teaching Assistant qualification.
You'll also have experience as a Teaching Assistant in a Primary Education setting - ideally having supported SEN pupils and a strong phonics knowledge base.
Most importantly, you'll need to be proactive, energetic and dedicated to nurturing the next generation of learners.
