Job Advertisement: Adult Support Worker - Kent (Tunbridge Wells) Hays Specialist Recruitment is recruiting Adult Support Workers to support adults with learning disabilities (e.g., Autism and ADHD) in residential homes in Kent (Tunbridge Wells).
Salary: £23,000 - £25,000 Shifts: All shift patterns available, including nights, long days, and half days.
Key Responsibilities: Provide essential support to adults with learning disabilities, fostering independence and personal growth.
Assist with daily activities, including cooking, cleaning, and medication management.
Accompany residents to appointments and social activities.
Ensure a safe, nurturing environment to promote well-being.
Requirements: Experience: At least 2 years in a care setting, with 1 year in the UK (preferred).
Qualifications: NVQ L3/2 in Health and Social Care or similar qualifications in supporting adults with learning disabilities (ideal).
Driving Licence: Manual driving licence (preferred, not mandatory).
Skills: Resilience, flexibility, and effective communication skills (written and verbal).
