Hardware Design Engineer Cambridge, UK | Up to £60, per annum Summary Our client, a global leader in narrowband RF Smart Mesh Networks, is seeking a talented Hardware Design Engineer to join their innovative team in Cambridge, UK.
As a Hardware Design Engineer, you'll be at the forefront of developing next-generation IoT and wireless communication products.
You'll work on challenging projects, collaborating with cross-functional teams to bring innovative ideas to life.
Key Responsibilities: Design and develop hardware for RF Smart Mesh Network products Create schematics and PCB layouts for complex multi-layer boards Work on sub-1GHz RF designs and cellular technology-based products Perform hardware validation and testing Ensure designs meet manufacturing and testing requirements Participate in compliance and certification processes Requirements: 5-7 years of experience in hardware design, focusing on RF and wireless communications Proficiency in PCB design software, preferably Altium Designer Strong experience in sub-GHz RF design for IoT devices Knowledge of cellular modem integration (2G/3G/4G/5G) Familiarity with power supply design and high-speed interfaces Experience with DFM/DFT for medium to high-volume manufacturing Hands-on experience with RF test equipment Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, or related field Desirables: Experience with PCB antenna design for sub-1GHz RF modules Knowledge of EMC/EMI testing and debugging Familiarity with international product certification processes Benefits: Share options Generous annual leave Private health insurance Pension scheme Life cover Opportunity to work with cutting-edge technology Professional development and growth opportunities If you're ready to take your career to the next level and contribute to ground-breaking RF and wireless technologies, we want to hear from you!
