Site based Handyperson - Birmingham - Global Facilities Management Organisation: Health Care & Public Sector CBW Staffing Solutions are seeking a reliable and skilled Handyperson to join our client's on site maintenance team.
The successful candidate will be responsible for performing a variety of tasks to ensure the proper functioning and appearance of the end-clients' facilities.
This role requires a proactive individual with a wide range of skills in repair, maintenance, and general building upkeep.
This is a site based opportunity, based at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital, Birmingham .
Package: Competitive salary up to £26,000 per annum (depending on experience) Core hours are Monday - Friday (40 hours per week) 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays Generous workplace pension scheme Training, development & progression opportunities Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance and minor repairs on plumbing, electrical systems, carpentry and HVAC systems Conduct regular inspections of premises to identify and address any issues Respond promptly to maintenance requests and emergency calls Paint, patch, and repair walls, ceilings, and other surfaces as needed Assemble and install furniture, fixtures, and equipment Maintain cleanliness and organisation of maintenance areas and tools Collaborate with other maintenance staff and contractors as necessary Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations Requirements: Proven experience as a Handyperson or in a similar maintenance role Relevant certifications or trade qualifications are a plus Proficiency in basic plumbing, electrical, carpentry and HVAC repairs Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail Excellent time management and organisational skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Good physical condition and ability to lift heavy objects If you are a skilled Handyperson, looking for a rewarding career opportunity, please apply with your full CV or contact Aaron Rutter at CBW Staffing Solutions.
