Job Description Role: Handyperson/Escort \n Location: HMP Coldingley \n Standard Rate: £16 \n Duration: Temporary role, with the opportunity to be long term \n Typical hours: Monday to Friday 08:00 - 17:00 \n As a Handyperson/Escort, you will be a part of security team where you will escort and oversee contractors such as carpenters, plumbers and electricians, whilst they complete their maintenance work or perform basic maintenance throughout the prison estate.
\n Other duties will include but not be limited to: \n \n Escorting contractors \n Checking identification & searching visitors \n Radio handling \n Routine administrative work \n Contractor tool checks \n Searching buildings \n Very basic maintenance \n \n About You: \n \n Previous experience of handy work is essential specifically in Plumbing \n \n Previous experience in a similar role/background \n Be safety conscious \n Have been living in the UK for the past 3+ years \n \n Due to the nature of the environment, you will be asked to complete the standard Security Vetting for the establishments.
