Job Title: Handyman/Depot Cleaner - HGV Industry Location:Droitwich Company: Vibe Recruitment (Recruiting on behalf of our client) About the Role : Vibe Recruitment is working with a well-respected client in the HGV industry to recruit a reliable and hardworking **Handyman/Depot Cleaner** to join their team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone who is proactive, detail-oriented, and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment.
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining a clean and organized depot, ensuring the work area is tidy and safe for all staff and visitors.
You will assist with general maintenance tasks around the depot, contributing to the smooth and efficient operation of the business.
**Key Responsibilities:** - Carry out general cleaning duties throughout the depot, including offices, workshops, and common areas.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the HGV workshop, ensuring it is free from clutter and hazards.
- Assist with minor maintenance and repair tasks as required, such as fixing light fixtures or assembling equipment.
- Ensure the depot's exterior, including the yard and parking areas, is kept clean and tidy.
- Empty bins and dispose of waste materials in an environmentally responsible manner.
- Support the team with any other tasks necessary to maintain the smooth operation of the depot.
- Follow health and safety guidelines to ensure a safe working environment for all employees.
**Requirements:** - Previous experience in a cleaning or handyman role, preferably in an industrial or workshop setting.
- Basic maintenance skills and knowledge of general repairs.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and a proactive approach to tasks.
- A good understanding of health and safety standards in a workplace environment.
- Physically fit and able to handle manual tasks.
- A full driving license is preferred but not essential.
