On behalf ofAWE, we are looking for aX3 Handover Managers - Inside IR35for an 18 month contract.
This is a hybrid working role - three days per week onsite Aldermaston, Reading.

Job Purpose: Tomanage, organize andcontrolHandover activities on a portfolio of projects or single Capital Project on behalf of the Senior ProjectManagerreporting to the Handover TeamLeader; recommending improvements in accordance with the companys Security, Quality, Environmental, Safety and Healthmanagementarrangements and all applicable legislation.
DV Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum youmustbe eligible and willing to undergo these checks.
As a HandoverManager, your main responsibilities will be to: Comply with the AWE procedures, processes & standards and ensure that all project team personnel comply with the specific procedures relating to Handover.
Effectively and accurately communicate relevant project Handover information to the client and project team.
Communicate ideas for improving company processes with a positive and constructive attitude, and for developing this attitude in others.
Keep Senior Portfolio Project Managers and others informed about project status and issues that may impact client relations and Handover.
Implement and chair project acceptance meetings.
Ensuring sufficient resource has been agreed with the Handover TeamLeader.
Assuring deliverables and arrangements between all participating stakeholders are agreed and appropriately accounted for.
Provide notification of Risks, Issues and Mitigating actions to the ProjectManagerand GroupLeaderCommissioning and Handover.
Ensure that supply chain framework understand the AWE Handover Processes and are aware of Awes expectations in relation to Handover.
Provision of final acceptance of completed documentation.
Review the HandoverManagementArrangements; Handover deliverable lists; and Functional Breakdown Structures of projects within the portfolio.
