Sling is a product by Avian Labs, Inc. About the Role Sling Money is looking for a dynamic and analytical Growth Marketer to take ownership of driving the app's growth and user acquisition.
This role will help us accelerate organic word-of-mouth growth, build upon that with paid marketing and help us reach the next stage of exponential growth.
If you're analytical, obsessed with testing and optimization, and have experience growing consumer marketing apps, we want to hear from you.
This role will have high ownership, working across multiple teams (marketing, engineering, product, design, and even finance and compliance) to drive both paid and organic growth, maximize retention, and optimize our entire growth funnel.
You'll be empowered to bring creative ideas, experiment, and execute growth strategies that help us scale fast.
Key Responsibilities Drive Growth: Build and implement growth strategies that span across organic, viral, and paid channels, with a focus on paid social marketing, lifecycle marketing, customer retention, and loyalty programs.
Experiment Constantly: Lead A/B testing, multivariate testing, and other growth experiments to continually optimize user acquisition, retention, and conversion rates.
Cross-Channel Marketing: Work with the marketing team to integrate marketing efforts across digital, social media, paid ads, email, and referral programs to build cohesive campaigns.
Analyze and Optimize: Dive deep into campaign performance, measuring key metrics and user behavior to refine growth strategies and make data-driven decisions.
Collaborate Broadly: Work closely with engineers, designer, content creator, and the rest of the Sling team to create seamless, impactful growth initiatives.
Be a Self-Starter: You'll take the lead on projects and campaigns, owning them from ideation through to execution, constantly optimizing and iterating to hit growth targets.
What We're Looking For Experience: Proven track record (5+ years) in growth marketing at a fast-paced startup, preferably in a Series A or early-stage environment.
You're experienced in running paid social (Meta, Google, TikTok, X, etc) and managing multi-channel campaigns (digital, social, email, referral) for consumer-facing apps.
Analytical Mindset: You love digging into data and using it to inform decisions.
You have hands-on experience with A/B testing, multivariate testing, and lifecycle marketing.
Creative Thinker: You bring fresh ideas to the table and have a natural curiosity for trying new approaches.
You're not afraid to experiment and fail fast.
Hands-On: You're comfortable rolling up your sleeves and getting things done.
Whether it's setting up campaigns, analyzing data, or working across teams, you're ready to dive in.
Growth-Oriented: You understand that no idea is too small, and every experiment can lead to a breakthrough.
You're constantly looking for ways to improve and scale.
Collaborative: You're excited to work closely with a small, dynamic team across functions, including marketing, product, content, engineering, and finance.
Nice to have Experience with retention and loyalty programs in a consumer app.
Experience with product analytics tools like Statsig or Metabase.
