Our client is a family-run business with over 35 years of experience in crafting wedding experiences across six venues across Essex, Cambridgeshire, Warwickshire, Somerset, and Gloucestershire ranging from Mansions and Manors to Castles, which are renowned for their ideal locations and settings.
The client is seeking a dedicated and experienced Group HR Manager to join their team, ensuring employees thrive in a supportive and fulfilling work environment.
Due to the client managing multiple sites, the role can be worked in Chelmsford or Braintree with hybrid working available, the client is offering a salary of up to 40,000.
What Does the Role Entail?
As the Group HR Manager, you will be in a pivotal role in supporting the employee experience across all six venues.
You will be responsible for developing and implementing HR strategies that align with business goals, fostering a positive and inclusive workplace culture, and ensuring compliance across the business.
You will oversee all aspects of HR from hire to fire, including recruitment, onboarding, performance management, employee relations, and supporting the payroll team.
You will be a strategic thinker who can also manage the day-to-day HR activities, ideally with an understanding of the hospitality and wedding industry.
What Skills Will You Have?
You will ideally have proven experience as an HR Manager, preferably within the hospitality, events, or service industries.
You will have experience across the full HR remit and ideally an understanding of Harri HR, payroll, and time and attendance systems.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are key, as you will build strong relationships with employees at all levels.
You should be both strategic and operational, capable of balancing long-term HR planning with day-to-day management tasks.
Experience managing HR across multiple sites or venues is a plus, as is a solid understanding of the hospitality and wedding sectors.
