The breadth of this role has enabled previous incumbents to solidify their financial skills and expertise, setting them up for a bigger role in the future.As a Group Financial Accountant, your role will include but not be limited to:Lead the standardisation of accounting policies between all group companies to achieve harmonisation across the group, including UK and foreign subsidiaries / Group companies.Responsibility for cradle to grave statutory reporting across the Group per timetable (including consolidations) in accordance with IFRS, including technical papers/disclosures as required.Responsibility for regulatory reporting, ensuring all deadlines are met, including ABTA, CAA, CAR and IATA.
Responsible for the annual renewal for CAA, CAR and IATA and supporting with the provision of information for the annual renewal for ABTA.Carry out internal audits for ABTA, CAA, CAR and IATA to ensure we meet the requirements of the regulator.Further enhance the current statutory reporting process to ensure it is as automated as possible.Responsible for delivery of the annual financial audit and lead contact for auditors.Deputise for Group Financial Controls and Reporting Manager as required.Support in the creation and ongoing running of an internal audit committee.What the client has to offer A salary of circa £55,00010% bonusHybrid working, twice a week in Ross-on-Wye.Pension
