Group Financial Accountant

Jenson Fisher, have been engaged on an exclusive basis to recruit a Group Accountant , on a full-time permanent basis for a rapidly expanding client based in North Lanarkshire. Reporting to the Group Finance Director, the successful candidate will be Qualified (ACCA/CIMA/CA) and will play a pivotal role in the growth and success of a group of companies within a dynamic organisation. Working in a fast-paced environment, you will be tasked with driving forward process improvements whilst also ensuring that reporting deadlines are achieved in an accurate and timely manner.
On a day-to-day basis your responsibilities will include: Responsible for preparing Monthly MI for the Group and a number of affiliated companies Assisting with Audit, Control and Reconciliation of the business assets - Hire Finance, Business Insurance, Banking arrangement etc. Working with the team to identify and implement operational processes and systems improvements Cost and Overhead control. Ad hoc reporting Background and Experience: Qualified Accountant (ACCA/CIMA or ICAS) Strong technical knowledge and experience in management and statutory accounts Highly proficient in Excel and knowledge of Sage 200 Enthusiastic proactive attitude with strength to work under pressure Able to convey financial information to a variety of stakeholders A desire to continuously improve and innovate. The successful incumbent will be confident communicating with senior leadership and driving projects, and process improvements with a real desire to make a difference and work alongside other talented finance professionals in a dedicated team.
