In a context of centralization and reinforcement of central functions, Creditinfo is recruiting a Group Accounting & Consolidation Manager reporting to the Group CFO.
the individual needs to be a motivated self-starter who can operate at senior management level to ensure the finance functions both centrally and in country are delivering value at all times.
The Group Accounting & Consolidation Manager is responsible for: - Group entities Accounting supervision - Improving the quality of the Group's consolidated financial reporting - Management and optimization of taxation - Management of intercompany agreements - Coordination of issuance of the consolidated financial statements under IFRS with external auditor - Setting Accounting Policies across the Group Key responsibilities: - Taking ownership of the production of high-quality financial accounts and reports for the Group and subsidiary companies - Ensuring the company complies with all regulatory requirements regarding financial reports.
taking ownership of the Group's multi-currency consolidation process for monthly internal management, quarterly Board and bank reporting and statutory purposes - Reviewing monthly Balance sheet reconciliations, including multi-currency intercompany reconciliations - Managing the accounting and tax for the Group's key headquarters - Administering, developing, and improving the accuracy of the organisation's consolidation tool to include training users on best practices and use of the system - Developing and implementing best practice processes and systems across the Group, - Leading the consolidation tool development roadmap - Supporting technical accounting to the operating businesses - Overseeing the tax compliance of the group – both corporate and VAT – including preparation of company corporate tax packs and VAT returns (with support from professional advisors) - Being the key point of contact for auditors, taking day to day responsibility for the smooth running of audit processes - Supporting a variety of ad hoc projects as required – for example, acquisitions, integrations etc - Responsible for the monthly reporting for UK group entities.
