Job description: Grounds Maintenance Operatives required in Taunton, SomersetOur client requires Grounds Maintenance Operatives to carry out tasks such as strimming, hard and soft landscaping.
Working in teams, you will be responsible for a range of activities from grass cutting, strimming, hedge pruning, flower bed maintenance, and much moreWhat we are looking for: Experience within the grounds maintenance industry (preferred)Capable of working safely using a range of equipment and hand tools ( strimmer's, backpack blowers, push mowers etc.
)Must be physically fit and able to work outdoors in all-weather conditionsGood time management skills and the ability to work in a demanding environmentEnthusiasm, good communication skillsGood understanding of health and safetyWill understand and the importance of working as a teamReliable and conscientious with a can-do attitudeA willingness to learnAbility to work on one's own initiative Qualifications required: CSCS card (ideally have the physical card)Ideally have a full, clean driving licence Hours of work:Monday – Friday but there will be some weekend overtime available, paid at premium rates.All candidates for these positions will be required to attend a safety critical medical and undergo Drug and Alcohol testingRate of Pay £ per hourThese will be PAYE positions so you will benefit from Accrued Holiday Pay from day onePension contributions (after a qualifying period)Weekly PayNo Umbrella payments or feesOnly Tax and National Insurance deductions and this will be shown on your payslip This is a temporary role, but there is a possibility this could become permanent in the future so
