We are seeking a driven and experienced Graphic Designer to lead our efforts in expanding our global market presence.
As a Graphic Designer at Detectamet UK, you will play a vital role in creating visually impactful designs that enhance brand identity and support marketing initiatives.
Your primary responsibilities will include:
Design and Branding Create engaging visual content, including brochures, flyers, posters, and packaging, that aligns with Detectamet's brand guidelines.
Develop and maintain the company's brand identity across all digital and print materials.
Design templates and assets for consistent branding across internal and external communications.
Digital Content Creation Design compelling graphics for websites, email campaigns, and social media platforms.
Collaborate with the marketing team to develop eye-catching visuals for digital advertising campaigns.
Produce animations, infographics, and videos as needed to enhance digital storytelling.
Marketing Collateral Work closely with the marketing team to produce high-quality materials for trade shows, events, and product launches.
Design impactful presentations, catalogues, and promotional materials to support sales and marketing efforts.
Project Collaboration Partner with cross-functional teams, including product development and sales, to understand project requirements and deliver tailored designs.
Collaborate with external vendors, printers, and agencies to ensure the production of quality materials.
Research and Innovation Stay updated on industry trends, tools, and technologies to bring innovative ideas to projects.
Provide creative input and suggestions to elevate the visual appeal of campaigns.
File Management and Quality Control Maintain an organised library of design assets, templates, and project files for easy access and updates.
Ensure all designs meet technical specifications and quality standards for print and digital formats.
To succeed in this role, you will need a combination of technical skills, creativity, and the ability to deliver high-quality designs.
The ideal candidate will possess:
Professional Experience Proven experience in graphic design, preferably 2-4 years in a similar role within a manufacturing, B2B, or marketing-focused environment.
Strong portfolio demonstrating expertise in creating designs for digital and print media.
Technical Skills Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other relevant tools.
Experience with video editing and motion graphics (e.g., Adobe After Effects or Premiere Pro) is a plus.
Familiarity with web design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch) and basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is advantageous.
Design Expertise Strong understanding of design principles, typography, colour theory, and branding.
Ability to create visuals that resonate with target audiences and align with brand guidelines.
Personal Attributes Highly creative with a keen eye for detail and a passion for producing visually compelling designs.
Excellent time management skills, with the ability to manage multiple projects and meet tight deadlines.
Strong communication and collaboration skills to effectively work with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Education & Qualifications A degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent professional experience).
Certifications or additional training in digital design, motion graphics, or video editing are advantageous.
Additional Skills A proactive approach to problem-solving and the ability to adapt designs based on feedback.
Knowledge of print production processes and the ability to prepare print-ready files.
Awareness of the latest design trends and tools to bring innovative ideas to the team.
