Unlock your passions at Ark House Vets Ark House Vets is a small animal practice located in the lovely market town of Leighton Buzzard. We are located 10 minutes away from Leighton Buzzard train stations. There are excellent links to London and good road network links to the rest of the UK.
We have a fantastic, supportive and caring team of 5 Vets and 10 RVNs as well as an excellent reception team. Within our team, we have a certificate holder in Emergency and Critical Care. We also have a member of the team currently studying for their Medicine certificate with completion in 2025. We also have mental health first aiders at our practice.
Practice facilities include dental x-ray, ultrasound, endoscope, CR x-ray, laboratory with modern and accurate haematology, biochemistry and electrolyte machines and so much more.
Four 9 hour shifts a week, either 8am – 6pm or 9 am – 7pm with 1 unpaid lunch hour. 1 day off per week. You will be part of our Saturday rota working 1 in 4 Saturdays 8:30am - 1pm (with another Vet). No out of hours which allows a great work life balance.
You will be supported by your dedicated VetGPD adviser and you will have regular meetings and support. You will also have daily surgical experience with surgeon support.
