As a Graduate Apprentice Teacher, you'll benefit from paid employment in a Star school while undertaking a 14-month training programme that allows you to gain QTS and a teaching apprenticeship qualification.
You will spend 80% of your time working in school and 20% attending training delivered by our teacher training partner, the National Institute of Teaching.
The programme uses a blended learning approach, combining in-school experience, centre-based training, and off-the-job training.
The apprenticeship training is free and you will receive a receive a salary based on the unqualified teacher scale.

Paid employment as an apprentice teacher in an established school and department.
Fully-funded enrolment on the Postgraduate Teaching Apprenticeship programme provided by the National Institute of Teaching, culminating in the award of qualified teacher status.

Regular feedback on your progress, complemented by supportive action planning.
Upon completing the Postgraduate Teaching Apprenticeship Programme, you'll be a qualified teacher with a job in the school where you trained with access to the National Institute of Teaching's flagship leadership programmes.
