About the Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant : As aGraduate SEN Teaching Assistant, you will: Earn up to £520 per week!
Join a Mainstream Secondary School based in Leeds Enjoy sociable working hours between 8am – 4pm, Monday to Friday Work to develop a strong relationship with the children you work with Focus your attention on SEN students who are struggling with ASD, ADHD and other forms of SEN/SEMH Liaise with outside organisations to ensure students are receiving the utmost care Perfect experience for aspiring SEN teachers or education psychologists Work 1-to-1 and in small group settings Clear progression: In-house teacher training available September 2025 About You: We're looking for a Graduate SEN Teaching Assistant who: Holds a 2:1 or First-Class degree in Psychology (or a closely related subject) from a Russell Group university A passion for working with children, particularly those with SEN. Patience, empathy, and a proactive approach to helping students overcome barriers to learning.
You should demonstrate strong emotional intelligence and the ability to read and respond appropriately to different situations and personalities in a classroom environment.
As a Graduate SEN teaching assistant, you will work collaboratively with the specialist SEN teachers in your school.
