What is the role?
Part of a wider business group that turnover in excess of £1billion, this company are a UK leader within the packaging industry.
Working on food packaging, accessories, chemical packaging and more, they sell into a variety of industries across the country.
Working as a Graduate Sales Executive, this position is a client-facing role where you will spend most days at pre-booked meetings with potential/existing clients.
Due to the geographical patch, the ideal candidate location would be in/around Dartford.
The role will see you travelling to Essex, Kent and Crawley.
Weighted towards more account management (75%), your key responsibilities will be looking to maintain and develop existing relationships by up-selling new products.
25% of your role will involve hunting for new business, speaking to companies that are currently buying from your competitors.
As well as all the internal training you'll receive, there is also a fully funded sales training programme delivered by BMS Performance for the successful graduate to undertake.
Success in this position could see you progress into a Key or National Account Manager role, with other development opportunities available across the wider business group.
What are the company looking for?
This role is ideal for someone that is keen to break into the sales industry and feels that they'd be better suited to a client-facing role rather than sat in an office every day.
Meeting new people in person will require confidence, enthusiasm and resilience - there is no sales experience required for the role but candidates may have picked up these transferable skills from team sports, part time jobs or other areas of their life.
A driving license is also necessary!
