Job Description Our 24-month Graduate Development Programme (GDP) provides you with a learning environment to help you become a well-rounded consultant and launch your career.
From day one, you'll dive into the heart of Turner & Townsend, building your internal networks and deepening your understanding of our industry and service area. This is your chance to develop industry knowledge that goes beyond textbooks and lectures!

Our Cost Management team is at the heart of Turner & Townsend's work in transforming performance on the world's most impactful programmes, to achieve great commercial outcomes and meet client objectives.
During the two-year programme, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of roles providing you with exposure to the most complex projects and programmes across the industry. The graduate programme offers the chance to personally drive improvements and successful delivery at the forefront of key sectors including infrastructure, central & local government, health & education, energy and natural resources, commercial development, data-centres, life sciences, and defence.
You will be working in a fast-paced environment where you will develop an array of skills to assist the teams in the successful delivery of our cost management services.
You will have the opportunity to gain experience in:
Contract Administration and Management Cost control and performance management Cost modelling and benchmarking Estimating and measurement Cost auditing and assurance Supply chain and market engagement Procurement and tendering Developing commercial strategies and programme setup Developing digital solutions to enhance performance Delivering on projects utilising Turner & Townsend's bespoke Digital tools Turner & Townsend's industry leading Embodied Carbon Calculator You will also receive formal training to establish and develop core and technical skills in multiple areas of quantity surveying, including support through your RICS Assessment of Professional Competence (APC).

Additional Information 25 Days annual leave Buy and Sell annual leave Pension In some regional roles being able to drive will be necessary due to the location of client offices. Please also note this is not a remote role as we operate a hybrid working approach you will need to be willing and able to work in a Turner & Townsend office or a client site. To be considered for roles in the Defence arena you will need to pass both a Baseline Personnel Security Standard check and UKSV SC clearance – this process will initiated once you have accepted an offer and have indicated you are happy to go through these checks.
