Graduate Planning Consultant

ADAS Planning, part of the RSK Group, are looking to appoint a Graduate Planning Consultant on a full time, permanent basis.
This role can be a hybrid setup based out of the Leeds office. With an outstanding track record and an excellent reputation, ADAS Planning is trusted by both private and public sector clients for high-quality planning advice and successful project delivery.
We operate nationwide, with particular expertise in renewable energy, alongside other sectors such as residential, infrastructure, education, rural diversification, commercial, and leisure.Responsibilities:Support the team with the on-going delivery of national minor and major projects, in a dynamic, client focused and commercial environment.Prepare and deliver high-quality planning reports that align with the client's brief and fully address relevant policies, guidance and considerations.Undertake project-related tasks such as fieldwork, policy research, monitoring, attending project meetings, public consultations, preparing site appraisals, pre-application enquiries, planning applications, and appeals and site searching.Develop your technical skills by supporting colleagues in managing and reviewing multi-disciplinary technical documents.Engage effectively with clients, regulators, and third parties such as parish or ward councillors during public consultations.Support business development activities by preparing fee proposals, tender documents and marketing materials.Requirements:A full driving licence and ability to travel when necessary.A Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) accredited degree in Town and Country Planning (First Degree/Masters/Postgraduate).Ability to work on a hybrid basis, with a minimum of two days per week in the Leeds office.Working towards achieving chartered status of the RTPI.Relevant experience and/or skills within the private sector (desirable).Flexibility to work occasionally outside of normal working hours as required.Salary and Benefits: Comprehensive training and career progression opportunitiesCompetitive salary based on relevant experiencePension contributionCycle to work schemeFlexible benefitsRSK is an equal opportunities employer. More detailed job description attached.#PlanningJobs #TownPlanning #rskfamily RSK will not accept unsolicited CVs from agencies other than RSK PSL or Secondary agencies.
