Graduate Paralegal (Permanent)

Details of the offer

We are currently seeking an experienced Paralegal or law graduate to join our growing Property Litigation team in our Exeter office on a full time and permanent basis.

In this role you will provide essential support to the fee earners in the team, to ensure all of our clients are provided with an outstanding service, by understanding their needs and delivering this in a cost effective manner, dealing with a range of property litigation matters.

You will be fully involved in all aspects of litigation, including the preparation of Court papers, preparing correspondence that is generated as a matter progresses and speaking to clients and third parties by telephone.
As an experienced paralegal working in a litigious area of law, or as a law graduate with experience in an office based environment, you'll be self-motivated, independent and eager to learn.
With a clear dedication to a career in Law, you will be known for being self-motivated, a good communicator and eager to learn.
We will need you to be a quick learner, and have excellent IT skills, being meticulous and thorough in order to deliver high quality work.
In return, as well as supporting your professional development through regular training, we will help you to grow your professional networks both internally and externally, providing an excellent foundation to go on and qualify as a lawyer with the firm, which many of our paralegals have done previously.

To help you realise your full potential as part of a forward-thinking team and business.

This includes a flexible working framework, extra annual leave for your birthday and the option to buy more holiday.

We have a comprehensive package to support physical and mental health, healthcare plans, an Employee Assistance programme and free access to the Calm mindfulness app.

You'll also have the chance to get involved in our responsible business programme, including taking part in fundraising initiatives and bringing your energy to our environment or diversity groups.

At Ashfords, we are committed to building a diverse and inclusive workforce.
We offer training and development opportunities to all of our people to help everyone reach their full potential.
For an informal and confidential discussion about this opportunity, please contact Toby Tompkins, Talent Attraction Manager, on 01392 333 654 or via email: apply now, and we will be in touch with you as soon as possible.
