Graduate Learning Support Assistant Job Specification: Full time Graduate Learning Support Assistant role: Monday to Friday, term time only Salary: Up to £520 per week Work closely with the school's SENDCO and other support staff to enhance the provision for students with SEN Assist with managing and regulating challenging behaviour Lead small groups in academic tasks and track student progress Provide pastoral and social support to students, and assist in their reintegration into mainstream school where possible Graduate Learning Support Assistant Character Specification: Degree (2:1 or above preferred) in Psychology, Education, or a related field (essential) Experience working with young people, particularly those with SEN and complex behavioural needs (desirable) Experience in roles involving behaviour management, such as within Residential Care, Youth Work, or similar, is beneficial TeamTeach or similar training (e.g., de-escalation, emotional regulation) is an advantage Strong resilience to manage emotionally and physically challenging situations Excellent communication, teamwork, and interpersonal skills Available for an interview and to start ASAP This well-regarded school is located in Solihull and offers a supportive, forward-thinking environment for both staff and students.
