Job Description Role: Graduate Hardware Engineer Location:Stevenage Duration:12 months Inside IR35 \n Graduate Development Engineer \n What you'll do As a graduate development engineer you will play a critical role on aspects of the hardware development, being responsible for testing devices, analyzing data and evaluation of design solutions.
You will also be expected to work across multi-functional groups and support colleagues.
Responsibilities \n \n Testing and verifying design solutions, helping the team deliver against stakeholder and project objectives.
\n Supporting colleagues in the development of hardware both within the engineering team and across other groups.
\n Managing packages of work, including collaborating with colleagues, contractors and suppliers.
\n Creating design documentation, including engineering drawings, technical specifications, verification plans/protocols and reports.
\n \n Who are you \n \n Have an appreciation of product development within a regulated industry.
\n Have experience designing and developing of robust, reliable, innovative products or devices, from concept to production.
\n Have an analytical mind and experience in root cause analysis.
\n Have an appreciation of detailed design and analysis of components, mechanisms and assemblies including moulding and sheet metal manufacture.
\n Can identify a board range of manufacturing processes and control.
\n Engineering degree or equivalent suitable engineering experience.
\n \n Desirable \n \n CAE (FEA, CFD, dynamics/math modelling, data analysis) \n Experience in systems engineering including design, definition and testing of systems and sub-systems \n Understanding of chromatography, membrane filtration and/or bioprocessing \n Experience in reactor design and/or process engineering \n Application and understanding of key industrial standards and regulations \n Proficient in Creo and/ Solidworks \n \n
